I'll be running the one I have here some today, and even more tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be beautiful......so we are gonna make firewood.

Just got in..
Made firewood...
500p is slow..
But I still like it..
Don't know why.. It's just sturdy..
And predictable.
And runs forever on a tank of fuel.

To me they are like a Honda. Might not be the most sexy, but built like a tank and damn reliable. Good ergos, nice fit and finish. It might not be the hare, but I'll be jiggered if the tortoise didn't win that race anyway.

Randy you said you had a 600 on the bench! Any chance it has a similar enough carb to the 500 to get it to bolt on. You know 14-14.5 mm venturi. Lol.

7910 carb bolts up but would haft to have a bigger intake boot. Lmao.

And i don't want one quite that big!

Another reason I carry the little bugger on the tractor with me, is it seems to run forever on a tank of gas and oil..

I managed to run a tank thru the little feller today. I'm completely happy with the way this saw runs. I also had a ported 346 with me. This Echo ain't much behind.

Well guys I'm gonna drag this back up for daddy pride! I have 2- 11 year old sons and this particular one has fell in love with the echo. Which makes this build even better. Light nimble and they can handle it with no prob. So excuse the crappy vid but gonna show it anyway!
