Haha! Smart azzz! You mean using this 394xp cylinder!Saw looks good Carl. When you going to do a build thread on the 395/288 hybrid your building????
Glad to se this thread again and to se the carb open up a bit. Sounds really goodOk guys I couldn't leave well enough alone. Last night I tore off the carb. The bad. I couldn't get the dam fuel nozzle out so I cheated. I opened the venturi up the best I could from 13.5 to 14mm. I then thinned the choke and throttle rods and I already had thinned the screws. In this vid when you hear it 4 stroking that's about 12200. She's set pretty rich and I need to get a good chain in it but regardless here's the outcome
And welcome to the site!Glad to se this thread again and to se the carb open up a bit. Sounds really good
So that is a accelerator pumped carb?
I'm working on a big throat for my echo 360t original carb was at .447"or 11.35mm. Hogged it out to .513 or 13.04mm. It liked it.
So working on a different carb from a husky and got it to 15.28mm to se if the little echo can handle it. It is a accelerator pump carb for now, it might get plugged off possibly. But here is the new venture looks a bit like a 026 carb now
And here's what u ask for! View attachment 8889View attachment 8890
I did thin the shafts. If i can get the dam fuel nozzle out I may try that. I'm just leary as I've did this before and didn't like the outcome on a work saw. I would rather just bolt on a bigger carb so I can keep the pressures right in the carb. I'm really not that great with carbs. I got a lot to learn in that department! Carbs are an art form in themselves!Thin those shafts, Carl. And try and take some more out of the venturi.
My stupid trick to pushing out the fuel atomizer a soft aluminum rod and firmore pressure xacto hobby knife handle works good. IL never use a screwdriver or steel againI did thin the shafts.
