Got the call from Terry today, as it turns out the rod was bad, And as things would have it, Mike basically twisted my arm again and I chose to go with the built rod!
He said I should have it back by Wednesday!
Anytime lol.
V6 set up next?Got my prototypes back from the welderView attachment 201040
Two different angles
Normal just cut a little bit lol.I wish! If I build that saw it won’t have a normal tank!
Ya, but I also don’t have another tank either, so some fabrication would be required! If I ever go that way, I would like to fab something up, and go all in! LolNormal just cut a little bit lol.
Or all out lmao.Ya, but I also don’t have another tank either, so some fabrication would be required! If I ever go that way, I would like to fab something up, and go all in! Lol
Did a little bit of mock up today with some scavenge parts, LOL things are super tight but I think it’s going to work wellView attachment 201175View attachment 201176 View attachment 201177View attachment 201178
Thanks, I have been planning it for a while now, lots of measuring and mock up, I think it’s going to work out, everything is so tight, a degree or two or a 1/16 of an inch one way or another and it doesn’t fit well at all!Looking good Mr. N., that fabricated manifold is a lot lower and thinner than the similar manifolds built by Horstmann and GEM. The commercial one would not fit under the stock
air box at all.
Yup, been there with the BDC fitment. A shoehorn job for sure. I think your WB project to be cleaner, easier, and much more appropriate for a work saw. Thanks, I have been planning it for a while now, lots of measuring and mock up, I think it’s going to work out, everything is so tight, a degree or two or a 1/16 of an inch one way or another and it doesn’t fit well at all!
Not going to lie, I was a little bummed when he said my rod was okay lol. Looks good glad to see you back at it.
Yes! Really quick!Wow! That was fast!
That rod looks sweet Nathan.
