If you ask me I think it wouldn't make sense to cut fuel off to limit the saw just seeing that being a really bad idea considering that's what lobs the bottom end.

I am not saying this is the case, but drowning it in fuel is still also an option for rev limiting.

Spark cut could be why it sounds fast/rich when limiting, but EFI spark cuts don’t always create such well repeating/consistent sound when in action.

Anyone got an oscilloscope? could answer these questions fairly easily.

If they cut the ignition it would go rich thus causing the hard 4 stroking sound we hear???

called yesterday. Another texted me this morning. They love these saws. These guys use a saw to make a living said:
You mean Husqvarna made a Homerun?

I think that could be a really good idea! Looking at my 562, I could easily drill a hole (maybe 3/8") angled out in that area.
Is that the flywheel rim I see through the vent? Or is it the coil?

Thinking of stihling the notion!
It is the edge of the flywheel.
