If you ask me I think it wouldn't make sense to cut fuel off to limit the saw just seeing that being a really bad idea considering that's what lobs the bottom end.
Agreed.If they cut fuel to limit the rpms would it not scream lean???
If they cut the ignition it would go rich thus causing the hard 4 stroking sound we hear???

Wondering what the maximum rpm achieved was after a good and proper piss rev?
It is the edge of the flywheel.I think that could be a really good idea! Looking at my 562, I could easily drill a hole (maybe 3/8") angled out in that area.
Is that the flywheel rim I see through the vent? Or is it the coil?
Thinking of stihling the notion!
