Yes and use a center drill to drill out all the spot welds. It can be kind of a pain. lol.
Interesting..... @Termitebuffet has a distinct advantage. See, he's but a wee little midget, so he climbs inside the muffler with a pneumatic chisel, and chips that nasty Ol' Cat out of there piece by piece......LOL!

On a slightly more serious note, I have kept my 5105 over numerous other 50cc saws. With the extra hash browns added by a guy in Norf Kackalcki, I haven't ever had a problem running a 20" and full 3/8. With a 16" and 3/8, it's a light saber.

The easy start is a feature I could do without. Adds weight and bulk and really no need for it, but.... it is what it is.
