I tried buying the one JJ linked in the OP from eBay if shipping wasn't too insane, but the seller won't ship it across the high seas. :(

Maybe across the low seas would be cheaper.
or one of us helpful members would assist in the process

I have two breakers and both have broken anvils. They must both be different Oregon models from different time periods imo. One is aluminum one is cast iron with a chrome handle. Neither have a nob but I found one of my Hurst shifter T-handles ;)

The spinner works great and it came complete by itself with nothing extra. Downside is the plastics chain carriers. Bought out a bunch of chain lengths and presets the same day in a different PA place. That came with a complete set of extra hardware for the spinner and it all fit 1/4" - 404 replacement parts pack was complete :)
Bought some anvils from EBay for one breaker and broke all three, trash steel with little heat treatment. Not anything near good enough. 3/8" Stihl chain did in all three of those quick. Bought a used one shipped and put that in the old cast iron Oregon breaker and that is what I have, for now. It works great on 3/8 or 404 anything including harverster chain. I do need to find anvils for breaking the 1/4", 3/8"lp or picco and 325.

Pics, you need pics

whatever you do dont buy the one that has breaker and spinner in one unit
they suck
i have oregon breaker and spinner
gave away the junk thing that was a all in one
They seem odd
lol ill bring mine
i have holes drilled in bench and use bolts with wing nuts so i can switch them as needed or put them out of the way when not in use
So do I and it works great.
If you can find a set of the old Herr breaker/spinners, they're about the best made for chains up to .404" pitch. I found my set at a garage sale
for $20, and they use the same punch, anvil, and take-up handle as the older Oregon breaker/spinners. This is what the breaker looks like - you
could probably find one a lot cheaper on Craigslist:

I've had my set since 1996 and have made or repaired hundreds of chains with it. I was even doing chains for a while for one of the dealerships
when their main technician was down with pneumonia. They would just email me their lists and I would deliver the chains the next morning.

Parts are still available for them through Oregon.
Some guys, my friends, who had a chainsaw repair shop in the late eighties through early nineties had that breaker just for 404 or 1/2" chain. Jack was good for wrecking tools. Neither him or Minnotti managed to kill it. I used it a few times on half inch chain. Quality tool there. It will break other chains also. Seen it done. It has no trouble bending up chain links!

I bought one of the adjustable anvils, and I like it. It holds the links snugly, even if odd sized or worn. Just for fun, I also made one out of a couple of square nuts and a bolt; hardened nuts would be better, if you can find them.

Thanks, I am sure one on this great community would help but I don't 'need' it at all, I just thought I'd shipping wasn't to had I'd grab it $60US is cheap for a breaker of that quality.
How about the Archer set (from a closer vendor)?

I've got a Tecomec spinner/breaker Phil already, my eyes sometimes get bigger than my mailbox.
