This is the style of punch and anvil my set uses. Mine are pretty old though, probably vintage early 80's:



Here is the one out of my Stihl breaker.

It looks like the Stihl breaker and spinner from that era use the same parts as the Herrs. I've never seen the Stihl set in person but
that would extend parts availability for all of the above for another few years.

game changer right there folks... thanks to y'all
thinking out loud in that many "versions" of the breakers have "Weaker" anvils and punches and that's where the "savings" start. dot dot dot...
Always better to start with better tooling and move UP from there.

I tried buying the one JJ linked in the OP from eBay if shipping wasn't too insane, but the seller won't ship it across the high seas. :(
