There is an old Fiat-Allis 8B dozer still working down the road from me, I had a photo of it on my old phone. I'll look for it the next time I'm down there.

Just picked this up. 2008 Bobcat 430. I wanted a newer one, but this one fell in my lap. It has 2,800 hrs. on it and looks like it was well taken care of. The little Kubota 4 cyl. runs good, and I got it for a decent price. Now I need a skid steer.

and I recently got a new 14,000 lb. 7 x 14 dump trailer. :)

It was my Grandpa’s and Dad has it now. Don’t use it much anymore. Cleaned out a few ponds for Grandpa’s neighbors with it when I was young.

My Dad had a excavating business and I had access to many machines. I cut a drainage ditch out loaded all logs in 10yd truck with tailgate down. I had like four years wood. I cut virgin timber on his island and drug out on ice to cut and load with case 310 dozer. Dragline was worst to learn to operate. I tried to dig my pond with it but kept twisting cables and never mastered it. Hydra hoe was a piece of cake.

Great thread here guys. Here’s our good ole Case 580e. She was sitting for 5 plus years with bad biodiesel in the fuel system from the previous owner. Rebuilt pump and injectors later, plus just about every hydraulic seal, and back to daily chores.

You have some great machines there. Is the 35 a Standard Motors diesel? It looks about the same vintage as mine.

I don't remember, but I think it's the 3 cyl Perkins.
I always avoid the other diesel because they are alot more $ to fix.

The hood logo, if original, would indicate the tractor be 1954-1958 vintage (mine is a '55). I thought the Perkins engines came about around 1962 but it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong.

I sold it 10 years ago, so I can't check to see what it was.:(

It does look like it's got 4 injector lines, so maybe it wasn't the 3cyl Perkins, idk.
I've owned about 20 of them, so it's difficult to keep 'em all straight. Lol.
