Tried out the new Salt creek highjacker jack today. Worked great. This tree was in a campground leaning over one road, there is another paved road just beyond the tall oak stump which we layed logs on either side so the tree bridged it and a water faucet out of frame to the right. Cut the corner off the stump to the right so it would slide down between the 4 stumps. ( little cedar on left is hard to see)

Bout like a bottle jack. I see a handle. Is the Jack Hydraulic? Or air compressor needed?

Hydraulic. Nice unit, madsens is selling them, I guess the salt creek people that make them are using silvey parts and cnc machine work so it’s essentially a better silvey. So for those of you that kicked yourself in the ass for not buying a silvey when you had the chance ( like me) here’s your second chance. Is the Jack Hydraulic? Or air compressor needed?

You can use a bottle jack in a pinch. I’ve never done it but same conceptWow. Really nice unit. Just wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost.

Honestly probably where I seen itYup. I have seen it done before by someone on here. Cut a small rectangle notch out and put bottle jack in there using a small piece of flat stock steel.
There was a video on here.
