@Sagebrush33
I have a couple of Flying A's from Chad @ BCUSA.
Small one 1084, belt knife 80crv2.
I had a bunch of customs, mainly Doziers but sold them to buy guns when the pandemic hit.

Couple of Chad's earlier blades (both 60-61rc).
Both have been thru the ringer & are EXCELLENT for for skinning game!

I guess you need to replenish some blades. Always need useful tools.
I guess ya could say I have issues. I don't sell my stuff. At least the stuff I buy without flipping intentions.

I'll get some more Doziers later on.
I've known Bob for 25 years.
His shop is 20 miles from me. Lol.

I understand this .... I don't buy knives for collecting and resale. I buy all my stuff to use it. Usually to earn a living. Just like my EDCs. I use them till they wear out. Only reason I want a PMII is because I hate my *b-wordmade. I need a new EDC. If, or rather when, I get a competition chopper, it'll be to use it. Mostly for camping chores.

I sold something once when I was in a bind and needed to buy a wheel hub/bearing assembly. I didn't use it often but now every time I need a demo saw, which isn't often but, I regret it.

Couple of things I never get rid of ..

A Randall knife or any knife I like.

A fine shooting rifle

A great dog , and I've had 3 .

A couple of saws will leave upon my death.

Yeah, if you keep em pristine.
It would have to be a WELL KNOWN maker to flip in a normal used condition & profit.
I like the user/performance knives that can actually skin a Bear or Hog with all that thick skin & dirt in the hide.
I've killed 2 Bears & 3 Hogs & a multitude of Large Whitetail.
Hard use & multiple sharpenings degrade the price of a collectable custom knife.
You can buy a nice rifle/pistol for the price of a collectable custom knife.
And you better check them daily to make sure there is no pitting if your gonna flip.

My stable currency besides a bit of silver is copper and aluminum. I hoard it. Sometime soon, I will melt all of it and pour into ingots.

Rareish Snap On Edition Kershaw laminated CPM D2 (14c28).
6.5" blade, aluminum handles.
Takes a SUPER keen edge & holds it for ever!
I bought it not thinking much about the edge holding, but it has pretty much become the one that that all others can audition to beat.

Lol! Nice knives fellas! Ill have to post pics of the one Marshall did for me, it beautiful! All i got on me now is this folder Buck knife that is used for anything beside cutting:D
An old feller from work gave it to me, and he has since past so it has a lil sentimental value to it.image.jpg

MY first deer skinning knife i was given at maybe 7-8 yrs old. It was an old timer skinner. Im gonna say 4-5” with the gut hook and leather sheath. Got her bloody many a times before she got put on the back burner for other cutlery. But it fits my hand like a glove, just love it. Ill have to get that out for pics too

Had a folder with a 4-5'' blade. Kept a decent edge and was easy to sharpen. Wish I knew what happened to it. Was my first pocket knife.

Don Hanson is a member here, goes by Sunfish, but I don't see him as a member anymore, probably because he hasn't posted in awhile. He used to be more active on here and AS. He comes to the MO GTG sometimes. His knives are extraordinary; not sure they are meant to be used, more for collecting. His website is sunfishforge.com.

He donated a knife to one of the fundraisers a looooong time ago. I had no clue about his knives at the time or I would have paid better attention. I think it was auctioned instead of going into the raffle. It brought good money but not near what they sell for IIRC.
