Just awful .

A mate got one of those for $1000 when his cousin finished his forestry course but kept failing his drug test so chose another line of work. It hadn't had much use either . I think some of the cheap 661s that turn up on trademe might have similar backstories.

A few years ago that was definitely the case up here, Pawn shops full of 365 Specials.

So I see the TradeMe fun police have had that poor Stihl 88 removed from auction.

Must have been concerned that someone would get hurt if it got used to make a NZ version of that pommy downhill cheese race, coz that's the only way I see that saw gaining any inertia ever again.

This is a blown up thumbnail of the saw in question. NZ regs don't allow a chainsaw to be sold without an operational chainbrake and our largest online auction site polices that policy aggressively.Screenshot_20201002-162027~2.pngThis poor things chainbrake is a fair way down the list of things to do.
