No sir i tried they are too thickwill one work on 461 ?
Do these work if you dont run a cover and just use the max flow plates ?
That's my question.
I would think so ,or just cut one from an old filter coverDo these work if you dont run a cover and just use the max flow plates ?
I have some 1/4" uhmw I could cut one out of. I guess I could try one on my 46.I think the single Max-Flow backing plate would be too flimsy, since the K&N filter cage doesn't have the rigidity of the Max-Flow cage. With an aluminum plate, or a thicker plastic plate, it should be fine.
Wont fit a 460 handle ,the black filter plate is shaped wrong just like the 461I have some 1/4" uhmw I could cut one out of. I guess I could try one on my 46.

Just remember that these filters rely on the rubber seal that mounts in the filter plate on the 044/064/084 saws to seal
The filter has a flat hard face on both top and bottom with no integral soft seal built in.
Shame they don't make a new style HD replacement as they would be a big seller
