Has anybody had luck "rebooting" an autotune like the chainsaw guy talks about running part throttle and just laying the tip on a log then pulling it down its length 18'-20' to reboot one?

Its worth a shot for 30 bucks, if it dont fix it, ill buy a new carb and have it programed again. I got it right enough to spend alittle time and money on.
Where close to us?
Text me a Husqvarna dealer close with the software .

So my husky dealer did a master reset on my saw, unfortunately it didnt help. So before i order a whole new carb,i cant fine just a rebuild kit for the saw. Are they not available or what? Id like not to have to buy a 75$ carb if i can just rebuild the one i have. The computer scan showed no errors, and showed the unit has 126 hours

That’s pretty early. Suprised it didn’t have any updates. Maybe they were done previously. There were updates available for my 2016 2253, but that’s a different saw within same family.

ARRRRRGH!!!!!!!

There is no way that a 2013 saw wouldn't have updates for the firmware. Only way that would be possible is if it had been done just before you bought it. Besides the fact that this guy is charging $30 for a 5 minute job, I don't think he is fully up to speed with his CST set up. If he has done even a handful of updates he wouldn't have been unsure about being able to do one on a Jonny because you have to select Husky or Jonny, (or now Red Max) in a drop down window before doing an update.

After doing the update it is necessary to return to the operating history tab and do a reset on the fuel setting, which I am betting are way off for your saw.

Sorry let me clarify, i didnt take it to the same guy i mentioned earlier. I took it to another guy bc dad happened to be buying a new husky lawnmower. He did wat he did for free. Forgive my ignorance i took his word for it bc dont know any better. Im old school when it comes to saws.

I have only three autotune saws, and this one is the first one to give me trouble. I need to do some studying on it. I work on brand new cars everyday that are probly a 100 times more complex than an autotune carb, but i just dont know how they operate.
