She never did get really good range of motion in that knee. Still tender too. :(
Ah bummer :( Was hoping to hear a little better results. Like, “ she has no pain, and now has a 36” vertical leap!!”
Hoping things continue to get better over time.

Don't stop trying. It can take a couple of years to get full range of motion and strength back.

My lovely little wife is having a knee replacement on Tuesday. She pretty nervous about it too.

If you fellers are the sort that pray, maybe you can ask for some help for her.

I'll be staying with her in Nashville for a couple of days. Then after we get home, there is gonna be physical therapy three days a week for 6 - 8 weeks.

Anyway.....just felt like telling y'all what is happening.

Prayer power incoming for you and your lovely bride brother! My dad had both his done many years ago now and was very glad he did it.

Has she just had the one done so far?

Yeppers. The other one is in pretty good shape.

I'm sure it will get better. She's tough.....and ain't sitting around.

She does range of motion exercises several times a day. One of the reasons she's having trouble with range of motion I think is because of the shape of her legs. When we were younger she worked out all the time. The amount of weight she could press with her legs was insane. Her legs are thick.....and I believe that hinders her being able to get them bent as far as if they were thinner. We walk together quite a lot.....and shes still pushing herself.

Pain and mind limit the exercises. Every once in a while, she will do something without thinking and it will push past the limitation. It will be a shot of pain while breaking through some scar tissue. Every time that happens, the range of motion will be better. That is why it takes time. I bet she sleeps better after the surgery though.
