On a low bed frame, I just pulled the slats and let the box spring drop to the floor.
Gotta measure first and make sure you still can change the bed sheets once things are down. Side rails may be in the way if the mattress is down between them.
Once the recovery was over, I put the slats back in place.

Also a good idea to first put an old blanket or something underneath in case the box spring has nails or staples that would scar the floor and get ya on the poop list.

That was a great idea.

We could all catch a ride on the Bannered wagon and head to Bannered Springs Tennessee and While Some "You Know Who" is preoccupied with the Misses we could RENT US SOME PIGGIES..
Might have to Lay over at Bannered Camp afterwards (IF he catches anyone.,, But it oughts ta be fun fer awhile.

MEBBE one of ya can paint some White walls on the SideJOWLS and don't forget the LIPSTICK. and whatever you all do stay clean and out of the mud

Today is Sunday and it is as quiet as a church mouse on this forum. It appears as everyone has had a "I hear my Mother Hollering" time to behave moment.
I would have been in on the fun BUT I didn't want to get in Trouble with my YFE today is our 13th Anniversary.

My lovely little wife is having a knee replacement on Tuesday. She pretty nervous about it too.

If you fellers are the sort that pray, maybe you can ask for some help for her.

I'll be staying with her in Nashville for a couple of days. Then after we get home, there is gonna be physical therapy three days a week for 6 - 8 weeks.

Anyway.....just felt like telling y'all what is happening.

Huge bruise on the back of Glenda's upper thigh. The bandages were far too tight evidently.

Seeing that scared her......she was crying a few minutes ago. I wish I could make it all better.

My wife had bruises like that too
Went halfway up her thigh and down the calf
It looked horrible for a couple weeks
Therapy will help that the most keeping muscles working and blood flowing to take it away [emoji106]

Was crying also
She had to live with her mom for 4 weeks because we didn’t have a bathroom on main floor, didnt want her doin steps yet

Oh hell, she and you know what's up better than any "Dr." who just meet you in the Urgent Care facility.

Good Catch! Heal fast and enjoy your extra time together!

She started PT the same day of the surgery. She's had six therapy sessions already.
