I’m in a management position at work and have worked as an instructor of other adults in my field.
I also have 5 kids.

I’ve seen my share of screwed up situations, caused plenty as well.
I’m usually the guy that has to sort it all out in the end.

when it all goes wrong there are two types of people.
Those who make it worse, and those who can say “I fukked up”.
The latter can move on with a bit of shame, learn and be better people.
The former just dig in deeper and cause more grief.

I, the responsible party, for those under my watch, almost instantly forgive those who admit they’ve done wrong. Then on becomes a period of teamwork to right the ship. It’s how good character is formed.

The best part is, it’s never too late to admit when you’ve done something wrong. Simply admit it and a path will be laid out to follow. Things will be right again. People in general are very forgiving, it’s in our nature.

I worked in Malaysia in 2014 and 2015 building a new plant and saw hookah shops everywhere. Never stepped in one but always wondered what they were smoking in those pipes. Is that some kind of tobacco or what?

It was not very widespread there, mainly in the Muslim quarter. What I tasted was a type of fruit / herbal tobacco.
