Do not use this crap!

Fueled it 2/3 full and watched for leaks. The tank had been empty for two weeks.
Minor seep at the gasket lifted some paint.

Tightened two adjacent cover screws got it stopped before a complete disaster.

Paint had five days to cure.[emoji35]

I doubt it.

This is the only rattle can paint that stands up against gasoline.

I've not found it in Deere green or yellow.

Chebby engine orange matches well on Remy SL series.

Have you tried any of the implement paint? I dont recall the brand just remember hearing about it.

Varathane machine and implement paint from Tractor Supply was fine. Then they dropped it and have another on their shelf.

'Magic' It's not worth squat.

Pulled the carb as it wasn't drawing fuel. I should have looked more closely at the 'white death' as the fuel passage in the carb box bulkhead had growed shut full length.

Took better part of an hour turnin a drill bit with my fingers to clean it out.

Ended up putting on a new fuel line and filter as l knocked the old one off.

Got him running.

Compression check gets to 145 and then I can't hold it on the floor.

Source the graphics Monday.

i got a john deere saw also but it is a few years newer though.

AF lid finished.

Deere sticker was $5.89 at the dealer.[emoji21]

Replaced the round wire knob retainer with an 'E' clip.

Only way to get the wire job off is with a cutoff disc, or hammer it thru and then use a cutoff disc.[emoji57]

Still waiting on the clutch cover graphics. Sign company's plotter is broke.

Cut several large cookies with him this morning to fine tune the high side.

It acts sluggish like it needs more timing advance.

We will widen the points gap to .018" and see if it helps.

Kind of spendy but worth it.

The fellows were on a roll so made two extra.

The same machine makes custom bumper stickers.

Notice the differences between the 23/SL-55 and the earlier 23/PL-55.

Settled for a natural finish handle.

Whitewall tire cleaner works good on the rubber grips.[emoji106]
