Throttle response is almost instant. It's really chewing up that wood. That's a real nice running strong saw.

Wow! That's really strong, it's holding great rpm even when you pulling up hard! And it's got an 8 pin!!
Hopefully it's here before Sunday so I can get it on the Dyno !!!

I just had a chance to really watch them. Stock it was cutting 9.1-9.2 seconds, and bogging down, ported was 5.5-5.8 sec, and pulling like a freight train!
That is just under 40% gain.

Yes.
It carries more rpm with a 8pin ported than a 7pin stock. Same bar and chain

I just got a new ported 390XP a few weeks ago but I have a friend that buys several saws per year for production logging. He has been interested in finding a builder a little closer to home. He primarily runs 372's and 390's. Also I'd definitely be interested in getting together to run mine with some others just for comparison.
