I only know one person who is in a wheel chair from an automobile accident. But I know dozens of people who are in wheel chairs from crashing at the dunes. Many were from dunes shifting overnight.

That may be true, but I know a tons of people who have died in auto accident and much fewer die at the dunes, more injured at the dunes for sure! It’s like motorcycles on the street...when there is an accident it’s bad!

Nobody wants to use there own land to do racing....to much liability!! And all of the drag strips are closing because of noise and liability! I got kicked off my the track in Portland in my Camaro....one pass...was too loud!!! I have a full exhaust with magnaflows 3” and my stupid car Is too loud for the track, and I drove it 80 miles to the track! Go figure...I can’t even race at the track! Lol

I'm down to 9 or 10 corded saws now. People don't appreciate them, so they go cheap at garage sales (or into dumpsters!). Cost to ship it would probably exceed its value.

Eventually everything will be regulated....image 20 years down the road...the stories of the things that we used to be able to do...remember when we could actually drive our own car or truck...do you remember two-strokes....who know what will happen...but one thing is certain...more regulations and less freedoms...but it’s friday! Happy Friday everyone!
And in fairness to the track...my car was 111db way louder than open header cars!!

They closed Englishtown, Oldbride Twp Raceway Park. We started the rod run and swap meet there. First year, at both. The Sunday Old-times Drags I hope moved back to Atco. Atco is the last quarter mile one around here. Then Cecil County or Maple Grove PA.
The track owner at Oldbridge would bring out his black 56 bird and do 1000 ft burnouts. Fun times! Seemed like everyone in the eighties and nineties had a gas car for fun and a blown or flamed coupe for the rod runs. I had flames orange and red on yellow


What's a new car with the cutouts open? Pretty damn loud imo.
