I trip across a fair bit of 60's vintage iron, but 50's and older are tough to find around here it seems. These came up for sale locally.. I love these old IEL's...The HB fires on a prime, the Super 52 turn over, but has zero compression......

Two very nice scores. Don't see the super 52 very often.

I very much would like to make runners out of both if possible. I think the HB won't be much trouble at all......If nothing else, Damn They're cool!

I just bought a Holiday 1100B last week.When I got it it didn't have any spark,so I pulled the flywheel & cleaned the points.I put some fuel in the carb & it fired up.I figured it was worth a shot & I put fuel in the tank & starterd pulling.I wanted to see what the filter looked like & I was surprised to find that it had an old weick filterr in it.I had to prime the carb several times before it got fuel through the filter,then it just quit on me.I figured the condenser crapped out on me,but the next day I gave it one pull with the choke on & it fired.It runs pretty nice right now.I'm looking for either a good used or NOS bar for it.It has a .404 sprocket on it,so a hard nosed bar will be fine.I only want to put a 20 in.bar on it as it's 58cc.

It does look nice but I have enough going on with my stihls for now. In fact I’ve decided to put all my others for sale and work on the stihls till I have what I want. Then maybe go back into the others.

Me to, one of the most difficult parts for a saw I ever needed to find.

They seldom come along even with many search functions running I have only found two in the last 15 years, many of the originals just got broken or shook the tin washers off the back, then fell off.

Was helping do some comunity cleanup at a cemetary and after words the felliw in charge bring a bunch of saws for us that helped and i got this one. Pretty excited for it. Dont know much aboutnit yet gotta do a little lookin on internet for specs.
