I've seen some of the same on one 254 I bought, was carbon scored, guess the csrbon cake went loose when they changed fuel from pump gas over to Aspen fuel. The only diff was that the most of the damage was on exhaust side, just a bit on intake side.
Not like this though.

No marks at all on top of the piston? Someone else put fuel in it for you when you cut up that oak? More pictures please!!

multi point piston seizure can be indicative of a piston that's too tight for the bore.

I thought it ate some kind of hardware at first, but no makes on top of piston??

Those marks on top of the piston look like detonation pitting of some sort, but the marks on the intake skirt are definitely from something hard.

Dan what's The gray material in the picture the one of the intake side of the piston? It's inside the crankcase On the right, I'm only looking at this on my cellphone.
