Some people prefer to look for a few days 😉
The people that just go buy new all the time when something needs a little work are the one's on their 5th marriage.

It means that you created this topic unnecessarily / You don't need this at all

Don't buy anything/just use what you have

That does not explain what you said.

How is it that I created the thread unessarily and I do not need a damn good trimmer head for a 131?

3.0mm white square (I need to try the new 3.3mm orange & yellow square I found and bought), followed by 2.7mm white square, then 3.0mm round (for really gnarly & chitty stuff like I dealt with yeaterday, it is a very tough but dull line), 2.7mm Husqvarna Penta "Star" shaped (I may go get a spool of higher gauge of it!), 3.0mm blue Dolmar square-twisted followed by 2.7mm blue Dolmar square-twisted (extremely "sharp" line, great for fresh & juicy weeds).

I have yet to try the Dolmar orange square I have.

Most of the generic round lines I bought due to good pricing and they are just cannon fodder for chitty jobs.

When the giant roll of Desert Vortex I have is used up in 20 years or more, I'll get something square.
Use it in Your 3D printer and get square now! ;)

That is why I prefer smaller line spools, it is used up and gone faster if I don't like the line.

Also, get this head - it is great.

TEMU replica

The ADK one is doing great, rated for 2.7mm line - I am spooling up 3.0mm round & square.

I haven't tried the TEMU one yet.

Warning, they seem to come with M10x1.25 LH threading.

I tried out this line yesterday and I really like it. It cuts like a pair of scissors and is totally quiet when it's swinging through the air. It's x-shaped but twisted.

They discontinued the brass grommets/they were too durable
