That saw is due for a complete tear down and rebuild no doubt. Should have ran the klotz instead of the orange bottle. Hahaha. I told you not to give that wild thing a 50 shot of laughing gas but you just had to try it anyways.

How much wear did the piston have ?

Lookin for abnormal piston wear sometimes can save a saw from the worst scenario or tell u if something isnt breakin in right on a rebuild or a new saw. But u can see that through the muffler. I normally look through the ex. Port to check break in or oil. Heck I took my saws apart to share any differences the oils was making internally but guess Ill save myself alil humiliation and embarrastment from being the punch line from now on?

I pull my cylinder and replace the piston every 5th tree, 4 if it's oak. You should be good for 2 or 3 more.

You should be ashamed using a saw for work like that. What if you scratched the paint on the bottom of the saw ? That would deem it worthless and lesser than other saws out there.
