How much for the oem clutch?

Can another clutch manufacturer be used?

Sadly no other mfg makes a 090 clutch. When you see photos of it you'll understand.

This is actually a really good price.

EDIT: I'm actually pretty sure this is the same guy I bought mine from. When I did mine the clutches alone were like $300 inside the US. At least he sends you the crush sleeve I't pretty sure I got it all for like $200 without clutch drum.

I have built the 070 kit. I used everything but the sprocket. I put an Oregon rim system on it. I ran about a gallon of fuel in it and tore it back down to explore performance modifications.

I would change the piston pin bearing, like Dave said. Everything looked ok for the most part. I have ran their rings in other saws and didn't like the results. It's like they loose seal or tension over a short period of time/heat cycles. No problem with the Hultz 070 rings yet, but it was just a gallon of fuel.....

The chrome is chipped on the lower picture, just below the intake, to the left.

It was assembled in a very clean environment and never ran without the air filter.

Oh, the spark plug that comes with the kit.... give it to someone you don't like. Mine didn't work out of the box.

It also looks like the intake side would have benefited from adding a little more radius as it transitioned into the cylinder. I think there would have been less scoring.

The plug that came with my 660 kit would fire and run good but when I put my tach close to it to check rpm, it would shut my tach off, Everytime.

that is a killer price, mine was $300 plus shipping for just the clutch when I bought it, pretty sure they are still near that here in the USA
