Husqvarna Tool..Worth getting .

I'll concede that I do in fact need the crank re-assembly tools aforementioned. Have been getting by with the aid of an arbor press and a few things to go with it. While I do have a Husqvarna splitter and clam shell and other pullers for taking everything apart, I'm just one misstep away from having a failure, come time to assemble. I feel so bad now, LOL.

These little guys however are just slicker than slobbers for putting seals in. Husqvarna 272, Jonsered 670 class on the left, Stihl 0 something something(036 or 044 can't remember) on the right. I would hate to be without them now.

These are a must have for working on 2 series Husqvarna AV.

Stihl has a real goodie in this spring tool for clutches, it does not know what kind of saw you're working on either, and I don't tell it any different when its pulling on a Husqvarna clutch spring.

Yes, just place the little antenna near the spark plug wire and push the switch to "on", and away it goes. Works on 4-strokes as well, only one cylinder though. Not sure as to the how of it, was able to set the governor speed of a Tecumseh generator, so it does work on both style of motor. SS

Same on the PET Tach...2 or 4 stroke singles ..all the mowers ,saws, trimers ...Etc, get a work out on the tach as a final OK.

I have a different PET model (PET2000DX), that I once bought from a US based Dolmar dealer - works very well indeed.

Set Modes ...Multi cylinder engines as well...Very nice Niko.

Yes - but I assume the 302 will do the same job on chainsaws, unless you happen to have a two-cylinder one. Most don't of course, myself included...

Yup..the 302 is fine for most things i do. Was wondering if you have a snowmobile along with other equipment where you are that has more than a single cylinder motor so you need a multi cylinder Tach. Never a bad thing to have something that will do more than the minimum you need though.

I could of course use it on my Honda snow-blower and my car if I wanted to, but I never have seen any reason to do that - I just bought the tach that was available from that dealer, as I needed one for the saw I also bought from him (PS-5100SH).

At the time I already knew enough about those Dolmars to not buy one without also having a tach.

Even with the tach it became a cheap saw for what it is here, as the exchange rate was very different from what it is today, and the US dealer did his job properly + some.

Yep, I still have it, as it was the saw my late wife (Witchy) wanted back then, so I am sort of attached to it.
It hasn't been used much though, as it isn't a well handling 50cc saw in the woods - works well for blocking logs on the sawbuck though - but then almost any well running saw does.

The picture is from her first use of the saw in 2006 - I guess she got a bonus t-shirt in the package as well, but it was on the large side....

The protective trousers are Stihl and the helmet Husky, just to round it out....

No problem, I wouldn't have mentioned that saw at all if it was.

Ok ...this is not strictly a tool but I think this is way to good a book not to at least mention . Some will have seen it, some will have turned its pages and to some it might be knowledge already learnt and experienced @SawTroll ...to all, I advise you to seek it out if you haven't done so.

For me it was a view and information that i had know knowledge about...but .. i can understand that it is a subject far more familiar to you. I thought there may have been a chance that the book had been through your hands.

Of course the bark should be down on most layers in a stack of birch, to let as much humidity as possible evaporate - but the top layer should be with the bark up, to protect against rain....

... that's just another theory of course, that some times will be proven wrong...
