Even with my lathe I still wouldn't want that job.

just recieved the final taps today, so now I just gotta get on with the machining of the rods and sleeves and i'll start shipping out. so far 12 / 20 sets are spoken for.

I may have missed it, but pm me the price and details. I may very well want a set of these. Thanks for posting. It is fascinating.

I know I probably missed this, but was there a chart or a response that gives the flywheel size and the pto size threads for Stihl saws (as he did here). I know the flywheel sizes are mostly M8 and M10 but not aware of the left hand thread sizes for the clutch side.

I have made some plans, well, not sure if I nailed the big Huskies....
PTO all left handed threads. I sorted 362/365/371/372 away from 385/390 due I gone use a different socket (6202 vs 6203 bearing)

I lost out on the set. I really don't do Huskies. As I understood your kit was mainly for Huskies. :(

the threaded rods will have it all.... the adapter needs to be modded for the smaller stihls. but works as is for the 660 and the 880 (I think ...theoretically)

I cant help you there my friend.
I hope though that an Stihl guy will make a sheet for those Stihls, it make life easier when we make tools, but also easier when we use tools.
I put together two 550's last week, had already given away my 550 oem tool so I used the kit from 346 and 254.

I'm gonna try to get more info on the stihls shortly... I have a few cranks sitting the basement for R&D ... courtesy of HL .... i'm pretty sure the threaded rods have most everything needed for the popular stuff ... as is. :)

Tor, the way I look at your sheets. If a guy had the 346, 372 & 288 kits. That should just about cover everything Husky has.

What are your thoughts on them three?

Any other tools that you think are worth the price?

Yes Tor, I got the 550 kit already.

How have you been feeling? Are you getting back to 100%?
