I still have it.I have two 55 close ports,I really like cutting with them. The one you sent me was a great deal.:)
I could have sold the piston for more than I got on that deal, sometimes it's about where they go more than how much they go for :beer-toast1:.

Any chance you could take a couple pics of the stickers and send em my way in a PM? I know a guy who may be able to re-create em. Haven't been able to find em anywhere else.
PM me w/address I have some black 50 starter decals. Will check in the AM to be pos.

I have a nice (full rebuild) 50 that could use a new home if anyone is looking for one.

Has new bearings, seals, piston, rings, gaskets, air filter, carb kit, lines .. you get the idea....
Maybe a tank and a half through it...

I actually remember seeing that.

This was the filthiest saw I had ever touched when I got it, turned out very nice underneath.

The 55 CP I sold to George was nasty as could be, but it looked pretty good underneath too. I find many times guys who don't take good care of their saw will let some little problem cause them to just sell them, they aren't the type who won't work on anything let alone clean it off .

Yeah there’s a mesh that goes around the outside that’s torn off/missing on yours. How’s the intake side of the piston look?

I don’t remember seeing any thing look concerning on the intake.
I can’t find any reference to the mesh as a replaceable or consumable. Even the local dealer scratched his head.
Could it be just a green foam pre filter?

I’d get a new flocked filter and rering it and it would be good.
