This is one pile of red oak with a couple punky spots. Other two piles look about the same. Yay 385!

Like to have one o' those, myself. Have a nice 50 just needing a starter cover decal. Black top was all gray and oxidized. Read a tip to try Lemon Pledge on it. Worked great and smelled good, too! Some impregnated stains and a few scuffs in the finish but the Pledge treatment has held up surprisingly well.

I have a nice (full rebuild) 50 that could use a new home if anyone is looking for one.

Has new bearings, seals, piston, rings, gaskets, air filter, carb kit, lines .. you get the idea....
Maybe a tank and a half through it...

I m not sure,My guess would be they put some out like that to see which version sold the best.

Could also be a regional thing. I've never seen a black sticker 55 in Ohio. 50's and 51's, yes.

I've never seen those labels up here either.
Still got the 55 CP I sent your way, that one was in pretty good condition when I sent it, looked real good when you got done with it.

I still have it.I have two 55 close ports,I really like cutting with them.The one you sent me was a great deal.

This is a 55 closed port with a Chinese starter and Chinese bar and chain,The rest of it is Oem.
