Star profiled trim line, local dealer also has 3.0 & 3.3mm in stock, in larger rolls though.
I have been looking for line in star profile, bought the smallest roll they had to give it a go.

Wondering if there is a go to fix for completely stripped and worn out brake mount holes like on this 350 below.

I was going to cut the self tapping thread off the original bolt and weld on a bolt large enough to engage with the current hole.

But thought I’d check with those that had been here before.

You can try an insert but a replacement case is not outrageous, imo

Thought I’d dry something different for the stripped out mount.

Thread not really correct for self tapping, but tightened up ok.

Just cut a slot into the first 2-3 threads and it will "self tap".
Driving it in as pictured most likely squished the material away.
