Went by our local Husqy dealer yesterday and got a free hat and calender. When i got home i was cking them out and seems the hat has a little irony involved. Advertising Swedish made chainsaws beside American flag all on a hat made in China.

I need to go by my dealer and get one....hopefully free. I'll just tear the "made in China" tag off.

Lots of people in this country, but to generalize and say as a whole is BS. Lots of hard workers here, and we put in our 40-80 hour work weeks and dont talk about it. Through legislation, we silently support those who dont want it bad enough. Bet your ass I'm not lazy.

Lots of work leaves here, because it can be made somewhere else... cheaper. Plain and simple.

I joined the NRA. The gift was a pocket knife in Red white and blue anodized aluminum saying NRA. Stars and Stripes bud.

Guess what it said at the base of the blade? "Made in China". I mean, WTF?

I also have a Pentagon memorialize coin given to me by a Pentagon Police Officer I know. Same deal.

I know what you mean, I am a life member myself. I wish they would just charge something or find some kind of way to send out things made here. I don't know if you are a knife guy.... But the best knife I have found for the money is a Kershaw Leek. Sandvik stainless, knife is made in the USA.

It kind of irks me, but even a lot of guys on the blade forums act ass hurt when someone refuses to buy an imported knife. To be honest, there ARE a lot of good knives coming from Taiwan and even China (or so I've heard), but I'll never know! I have always been a Case knife guy, and I will go for a German made Boker here and there... but this Kershaw Leek almost left me speechless.

It was not until the leadership coup of 1977 that their original mission was hijacked and the NRA became the organization that we know today.

Sorry, Guido. But the NRA has become a thriving business that is only concerned with paying themselves huge salaries and perks. I have been an active NRA member for the last 40 year and have been a Life Member for the last 20 years. If you don't respond to their mail requests for donations you will be considered no longer a member and will not receive your magazines any longer. I have contacted them on 3 different occasions and still have not received anything from them. I know what they can do with themselves.
