Wow! I had my mitts on one of them high-bids that John built. Now.. I'm a Husky guy mind you, not a close minded Husky guy, but a Husky guy none the less. That was one Stihl that I would have noooo problems owning. Not even close to what I remember in the mmws562 I ran. What I wish I could comment on was the awol treatment. Sounds exciting!

I don't like a 44/46 hybrid. I'd rather have the 044 but I'll take a 562 over them both.
I love stihls too
Theres just something about my 550 that just has that thing when u cut with it that makes u say DANG!!! i cant think of anything I would change on it. The picco PS setup IMO is the smoothest on my 550 and fast

Have you ran it yet?
Yes[emoji12]

I've been waiting to get one. Worried about the hiccups. You being impressed by another builders saw enough to write up what you did.....raised an eyebrow here in my world. Did a little research and concluded that awol is indeed figuring this saw out.

I've only put 15 minutes on it limbing. Nothing over 6".... 20" techlite 3/8 full comp. Loving it. It revs up fast like my 2253. Tomorrow it will get buried in oak. I noodled a bit today. It's strong. Looking like my new go to saw. Will work great for storm damage and removals around here.

I'm planning on putting some tanks through it. Then fall a large ash and red oak with it in the next few weeks. Maybe throw a new chain on it and do a video. I'm interested in throwing a 28" bar on it just for fun.

How bout a pic before anymore blemishes. I've never dealt with the gray clutch cover before. They are easy to scratch up for sure!
