I have one other theory about these saws that may/may not be true.
I had a couple of discussions with Randy and Doc Al on these AT saws. Both have theories about these saws and have passed on some of that info.
They helped me greatly to spurn some brainstorming on what is going on in the 'thinker' of these saws.
Unanswered questions about the AT is where the input comes from for temps. We know from using the Husky linkup, the system is taking temp readings.
Is it from the carb only? Is resistance of the sparkplug wire used to measure cylinder temps? Resistance changes with heat, so it may be possible.
If not, would the addition of such a thermocouple help with hot starts by metering air/fuel ratios and advanced/retarded spark to compensate for the temps?
