Nice got a gb bar aswell, only 24" and only clamped at the powerhead.
Wanted a light and "nimble" setup.
For my bigger mill I use normal 3/8 bar and chain. Tried different types, skip, chisel, semi, never made a big different.

I had thought about 3/8 lo pro but wondered if it would hold out on a bigger saw without
worrying about snapping

I can only offer an opinion. I've never used the white one. Top one works well.

Not sure if you’re aware but use a bar tip grease “gun” on the center of the crank shaft at the clutch to lube the clutch bearing.
I keep the coil cleaned off with compressed air pretty routinely in an effort to keep it as cool as possible.
One part it’s nice to have a spare of is the chain adjuster. Biggest and honestly only gripe with these 94/95’s is the placement of that adjustment. It’s impossible to get to with mill attached.
And the recoil and top covers get a small dab of loctite on the screws as a preventative. I’ve never lost one on that saw.

Mine is a 1994 and has a date so yours is earlier I presume. I thought first 2 numbers were week, next two the year but I must be mistaken.

Planning on milling with my Jonsered 2188. Where would I get a better air filter for that?
Ill swap you a better tank to run a mill. Save that 2188 for better tasks..

Haven’t used it to mill yet, but like it too much to part with. Joy to run 36” full skip felling pine.
