those boards look lovely , chain is the next one theres several options out There 404 3/8
and 3/8 lo pro which could be a problem for big torquey saws I’ve got a 42” 404
and a 46” 3/8 lo pro but no 3/8 bars over 32”

is there a 3/8 bar D009 mount longer than 32”
I have a 42" .063 OR bar is 3/8

So, did you buy that 390?

I’ve been messaging but Haven’t heard anything so no go there
but I was speaking to a friend in Ireland and he said I could have one
of his big huskies so there’s a 394 in the post today so now halfway there

That’s quite an improvement for mill duty. They oil like a hoss. Only issue is the low-top filter can possibly let fines in. I like the clamp-on style filter of the high-top for air tight sealing.
Awesome set-up there too. Love to see some pics/vids when you start using it.

Thanks I bought the plans for the mill about 7yrs ago and it took all this time too get it going
I done a yew tree 2 or 3yrs ago

AJ,
I gotta ask, what’s the benefit of the hyper skip chain?
You obviously have less teeth to sharpen, but does it cut faster?

its better for longer bars clears the sawdust quicker but your sharpening has
too be spot on but the finish is not so smooth and as you say less teeth too sharpen

The intake elbow needed I believe is probably not an easy find. It wasn't when I got one. Then you just need a 395 filter and cover. Slow day at work so I'll search for one..
