Here's a video of it. Not too bad and it does feel like 70cc power. Nothing started melting or falling apart. It definitely feels like it can gain quite a bit if I increase the intake duration.
The chain stayed pretty dry on these cuts so the oiler isn't working at full capacity. That definitely needs fixed.

Sounds good Jim. No porting yet in the vid?
No porting yet. I wanted to see how it runs before making that decision.

Dude that's an awesome saw... How much you take off the jug?
I took a good 16th inch from the squish band and nothing from the base.

Very nice work. I always enjoy the frankinstine saws like this.

I've been comparing its cutting time to other videos of my ported 372xpw in that same log and I believe it is stronger than I originally thought. It's running a 26", brand new skip chain and the rakers are filed down below where the sweet spot is for this saw.
Here's a video of that saw with a much faster chain to compare it to...

So what's the price (non ported)? :)
I'd rather build another to sell. I'm porting this one to see what its potential is. I'm not going all crazy on it. The ports are smaller than what you'd normally see on a cylinder of that bore size so I'm just doing a little reshaping and I'll also put the ports where they need to be. The main thing is the tiny intake that's about 8-10° too high.

Oem or AM cylinder ? When I just did my 272xp I thought the intake was huge.
