6" is Mongo sized? What great news!!!!!!!I have to say that my Uni is mongo sized...at least 6"...
I have this on mine, I didn't want to pay $100 for a crappy used OEM filter off of eBay that looks like it was used for scooping mud for the last 20 years. The unit was super easy to attach with the v-stack adapter.possibly a v-stack/uni setup
What piston do you have? How long of a bar do you want to run?The end goal is to have a fun, fast saw to run a few times a year. Will run 3/8 and 8 or 9 pin.
For port #s I'm thinking 99* ex, 78* intake and maybe 125* on the transfers.
Do those sound decent?
Obviously going to mod the muffler, cut the base and chamber and maybe swap to a 288 intake and possibly a v-stack/uni setup....timing advance???
Suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.
It's a pro line window type piston. Thick ring type I believe. Plan on only running the top ring. What piston do you have? How long of a bar do you want to run?
Right on. Yeah, some of that used oem stuff is outrageously priced. Where did you get the v-stack and adapter from?I have this on mine, I didn't want to pay $100 for a crappy used OEM filter off of eBay that looks like it was used for scooping mud for the last 20 years. I wouldn’t count on spanking a good ported 395 with your 2100. If you want it to be fast and don’t need to run a long bar, I would consider a 395 piston. It will allow you to widen the exhaust more. For numbers I would try 96, 116, 76. 98 exhaust is still good for long bar work. It's not going to be a regular use saw....just something to whip out and spank a 395 or 660. Lol....That's the goal anyway![]()
