The one I got was listed as an OEM outer dog and it matched the original perfectly. It lined up with the OEM cover perfectly, the holes were already molded in the cover, just not drilled. Drilled em and bolted it up and away we go. It does need a chain catcher to finish it up though and I'd like the bit or rigidity it would add.

This dog came up on eBay and I got lucky and snapped it up right away.

I just bought another inner dog and ground the cutout in so I could get to the bar nut.

I have noticed a fair few 2100's up for sale here in oz recently.

Some of them are old and rusty and they want too much money for them.

I think I may have a crack at getting the 2100 I have in bits together on Saturday. See how far I get before I find a part I need.

I do need a muffler

Got a big 2100 care package of parts on the way. Should be back to her 'new' old self shortly. Opted to go 7T 404, 36" bar. Also found a thin ring piston for that new cylinder. Replacing a bunch of worn out parts and freshening up her looks then it's time to run it.

Nice!

I was talking to the blokes at the local husky dealer the other day and one of them is mad for 2100's and I think he said 181's.

Anyway, I told him I would bring mine in soon to show him and hopefully before I get it really dirty.
He recoiled in horror and said...... What? You're going to use it?

I said..... Yep!

On the AM set I bought, the mounting holes for the inner and outer were identical.
Only difference was the rear middle of the inner dog.
As long as the spikes will line up with the one you have your set.

The AM ones I got did not line up with the OEM dog

It looks the same as my oem, hard to tell though. We'll see when it gets here

Good progress this arvo.
Need to put a new crimp lug on the stop switch cable, replace the fuel line and tank vent and clean out the tank handle.

Still waiting on the fuel and oil caps from Greece, they are taking forever.

Another question.
Does the 2100 have a different piston to a 2101?
The 2101 has a piston with long oval windows and open at the base, more like a 395 or 066 piston
