Wow! Heavy trip man. I was never really worked. Running a saw was just my religion. I was just praying to the Husqvarna god's and my Vicking routes.

" I come from the land of the ice and snow
With the midnight sun where the hot springs blow"

"Valhalla I am coming"

It’s been a busy summer for sure. Spring wasn’t as busy as normal this year.

Sounds like you are pretty flat out. Are you still traveling? If you get by Mother England then we can pray to the gods and go cutting? I am back on the religion again...soon. Come play around if you want to get your fix?

Still traveling but staying stateside for the time being. I’d like to get over that way eventually.

I’ve been beating on this thing like it’s a red headed stepchild this last couple weeks. Well as hard as a flatlander can anyway. Two falling days, two skidding days, two landing days and three days on sawmill duty for it so far, hasn’t missed a beat. All weather too, hot and humid, pouring rain, two very sloppy days in the mud on the landing and a couple days bouncing behind the seat in the Skidder. Frequent start/stops on the mill etc. So far so good. The felling sights have all but rubbed off the sides now but other than that it’s still like new. Needs a bath!

I did not forget about this thread guys. My boss loves my 572 with the mm. Wants me to do it to his 572 and fit a outer spike/roller catch on it. I don’t think it gives anything up to our 390xp, except some low end torque. She uses like half the fuel it seems, not to mention being significantly lighter as well. Great saw. 253A630A-7070-44A4-957E-7CE53372BB47.jpeg Big blowdown soft maple I cut today.

So I found a big saw shop in London and they didn't have 572 or a 562? or any 3 series.
I didn't see anything bigger than a 550.

I thought they sucked! hardly any normal handled axes and chit wedges.

They had a 441 & 462 & 500i .
£50 difference between the 441 & 462
462 was £900 for 18" and £927 for 24".

Anyway, the new power heads are light but It was like going back 25 yrs. They didn't have full wraps and as huskyboy was saying before that saws were coming with a curved stainless chain catcher.
That can't be good. The rubber 'tank protector' is a little strip and won't protect the tank. It doesn't drop down. Think it was the 362 was the same in the sense the tail didn't come down. Even the 500i had a single dog. It's a Shame they would sell them like that.

Is there any blackish paint version of 572? I've seen some 565s with blackish paint while all the 572s are silver here.

Never understood why anything over 60cc is allowed off the line without a wrap and dual large dawgs.

Because each market is different. Some areas require wraps by law/regulation. If you arent cutting stumps low and dont care wraps are fine. You wont see many wraps on pro saws in new england.
