...where are the double spikes?![]()
Something is wrong there, ours has three days production on it no wear at all yet. Did you complain to the dealer you bought it from? (Edit: never mind, saw you had Kevin port it making warranty null and void). This is what I was referring to. On the corners of the oil tank the paint was starting to wear when I unboxed it.
Not knocking the saw just the grey paint.

Well to be honest I wasn’t impressed with the grey paint on my 562 I had, wore quickly on the clutch cover and I don’t abuse my saws. But hopefully your 572 was just defective and isn’t the norm.I don't care about the warranty and given Husky's reputation regarding the paint I wasn't really surprised. It's still a kickass saw.

It seems like it is to me. Time will tell sir. Time will tell durability too.I would have hoped after the failing of the last series the gray would have been a better quality of paint.
That's terrible sending a 70cc saw out like that. I don't see why the factory wouldn't put it on to prevent that (whether unintended or not)All the 565's and 572's I have unboxed and set up had the roller chain catch and hardware in a bag in the box. Maybe some dealers are just not installing them?
