Has anyone checked on a price for a 346 kit?
it will wary a bit dealer to dealer, spike60 mention 105$ for the kit.
I saw earlier in this thread Gary mention 98$.

If it wasnt because of very low norwegian currency rate I would probleby bought one 346 NE set. I know I will before or later dump over one nice straight gassed 346xpg here.

I just picked up two NE pcs from my dealer for $109 each, I have two OE saws and should have a 353 coming in soon.
I want to keep one of the OEs stock for the 45cc and under class we race around here. The 353 will likely get the big surprise.

I don't know who Spike is, anyone have his contact info?

Has anyone seen the price for a 55 kit to rebuild a 51? Part # 503 60 91-04.

Called a local dealer and they said my part # was wrong, it has been superceded by 503 60 91-71. Price has dropped from $218 to $107.

I can't tell from the IPL what is actually included in the kit. I assume cylinder, piston and ring. Does it include the the cylinder pin and circlips? How about the gasket?

Any help appreciated as I have never re-built a saw before.

cylinder, piston, pin, circle clips should be included. gasket and wrist pin bearing are extra on most kits

Just want to thank some of you guys like Don and Michael who have passed my name along on these kits. The "party" we've been having with them has caught Husky by surprise. Many kits are backordered down there, with most of the dates out until April. I'm part of the problem here, cause I loaded up pretty heavy on some. :) Partly cause I figured they'd run out, and partly because I thought there was a chance the prices would not stay low.

This supply issue also affects the Jonsered side as all of the Jonsered distributors pull from the same Husky parts facility. Not liike the old days when Tilton ordered parts direct from Sweden.

All in all, it should settle down over the next couple of months. But the good news is that it seems these prices are here to stay.
