I've tried two different connectors along with assorted trigger and striker springs in my 23. Not pleased with any combination, I went back all original. I like the trigger as is, they just take some getting used to for some people.

Glocks have good enough trigger's now i leave them be unless they are really spongy gritty or heavy.
A little judicious polishing of the engagement surfaces on the trigger bar will do as much to clean up the trigger, as a bunch of expensive replacement parts.

In 2000 I was at an idpa match just after i bought my first glock 22 and of course polished the crap out of everything the .25 cent trigger job to the extreme lol i met a glock armorer he had a booth set up my trigger was stacking badly so i had him check it out in no time he swapped everything in the slide and frame out for new glock parts back to a crisp 4.5 i was happy and thanked him.
You know he wouldn't take any money that right there is customer service.

On the other hand Bought a very early kimber of oregon 1911 .45 in 1996 39xx gun itself was perfect but they had kinked the recoil spring badly and it was sticking so i just called and asked for a replacement spring which i offered to pay for i was yelled at for tearing up the spring and wanting something for nothing etc. Cant remember everything i liked the gun still have it but it left an impression i never bought another kimber product not saying they are bad just that helped me buy my Springfield loaded lol

Lol not picking on glock i have several but the glock guy's i know are ridiculous my friend darren bought over 300.00 worth of part's to build his dream carry g19 the lonewolf barrel was the only thing that worked correctly he butchered the gun with all that aftermarket crap the trigger wouldn't reset and light primer strikes plus failure to eject constantly he brought it to me i replaced all of that junk with glock part's he had sold the barrel because he had that badass lonewolf picture on top of the barrel lol runs fine now his wife said he discovered stippling with a soldering iron on youtube she's going to try to get me a pic of his masterpiece.

IMHO, the only parts upgrade that's potentially nice to have on a Glock is a barrel.

But that's only if you shoot lead.

My G23 has a super smooth and crisp trigger. It's noticeably crisper than my G19.
The only thing different about the two is the 23 has tens of thousands of rounds through it and probably equally as many trigger pulls from dry firing. That trigger is wore in really well and I love it.

Here's one of my favorite glocks a 23 i hope they do away with the finger grooves i hate's finger grooves.View attachment 57743

I've gotta agree.

I need to grind mine off. I shaved them off on my G19. I dislike the finger grooves

Do you have any experience with 5R rifling? Or what are your thoughts on it anyway

Personally no, but the next rifle I get will be.

Yea, welcome to Kimber's CS:facepalm:

Real Good Sales Pitch.

My cousin has one of the 5r threaded 700 308s.

Barrels are just like anything else: there are different levels, options, etc.

The same cousin has a factory DPMS LR-308 with a factory 24" match stainless that shoots way better than it is supposed to.

It's the combination of good components, proper technique, & repetition, along with some luck, as much as anything.

I know a guy that's on the Governor's Rifle Team for the State of Texas that shoots an open sight Remington .260 in 1000yrd matches.

Yes, he's a BadAss.

IMO. Glock missed on the 42/43. Single stack? Seriously?

My G43 is perfect for front pocket conceal carry: double stack would have made it a hip only gun like my 23/19, & I've already got some of those.

They should have introduced the G43 when they introduced the G36.
