I got a question is it a waste of my time trying to line up the outside working corner with the inside corner? A lot of the pics in this thread are not and I think it's prolly for a good reason. Could someone shed a little lite on this for me please?
The main thing is the outside corner. I'd think that with varying cutter thickness from brand to brand, you might be chasing your tail.

I try to pick one cutter I like, and make them all look like that inside and out, for angle consistency

That depends on what wood you are cutting and what saw you have. Angles are everything when it comes to square

If you line up the corners it will be durable but not as fast cutting.
So with the corners lined up it would likely be a good hardwood set up then?

I cut hardwood with the ones I posted. The chain we used to drop that post oak with was square filed with similar angles. It held up better than I thought it would in that stuff
