Kinda new to this square file stuff, but judging by what I'm seeing here you want live edge file's not the smooth edge ones I run for dropping rakers. Or am I wrong?

Yes, chisel bit files..
Hard, square corners..
The straight edge side plates sever the wood as opposed to ripping through it.

Chassis work takes forever! Lordy! I wanted to see how it cut before I got too aggressive with it. Might bog down the lil 241 more than I'd like
Keep the rakers high..
That crap is agressive.
Fine for white pine, but will sap your power in gummy stuff..

I'll have to look and see. My work schedule is every other weekend. So i got 50/50. Prolly less than that if mama has anything to say about it.

Planning on. It's 4 hours north of here
