Vallorbe are much narrower and if you’re the type to hold both ends of the file, the tip they have looks good for that. One thing I don’t like is the very narrow tang. They don’t stick in any of my handles. May have to spin up some fresh ones to use.

angle may be a bit different from your other files as well so be careful touching up a race chain that is already made, should do great on new chains

Sorry, I do not know it. Mike found a bunch of these at his local old timer Stihl dealership and bought them all. He sold a few to a chosen few. I was lucky enough to get a couple. I'm hoping these Vallorbe are similar.

This should be the flat file for maintain depth gauges 7010 871 0007.

7010 871 0006 is the square chisel file. 7010 871 0132 is a triangle shaped six sided file.
