Lol. Not sure what I hit on the screen. It films me in reverse.
Not sure on the maple either. Just know its maple.
I brought my test piece home with me. I will try same saw in 3/8 chain for speed.

eimo question here. Y’all use anything on your guide finger for the file?
No. For the most part, the fingers are just holding the tooth still. But if it's in the right spot it helps guide the file too

Not sure if this has been pointed out, but I get the best consistency keeping the tooth to be sharpened in the same spot on the bar. I personally like the right tooth just after 12 o'clock on the nose, if that makes sense?
Versus round filing, where I'd file every tooth exposed, then advance chain almost the length of bar.

That video looks like it was shot with reverse exposure lol never seen a left side clutch. That must be a british model heh heh..
Looks good though. Sugar or red?
I worked for a southpaw who could've used that saw. Sure was awkward running 288's.
Looks like red maple from here.

If I were a moderator on a motorcyle forum I would ask you to move your comments to an appropriate thread.:p
You gotta be careful being the banter police. I said something jokingly a couple weeks ago and the thread went dead lmao
