I'll spend a little more time fuggin around with it on the firewood pile. The way it is now I'm in no hurry to take it back to the woods.

By eye, the rakers look low and along with that lean it might be too much.

Is it too aggressive? Or what is your issue with it?

Basically acts like it's dull when boring. Didn't seem too aggressive, matter of fact my round chain is more jumpy.

Was a good size shag bark IIRC. That stuff isn't exactly chain friendly.

I messed with it some more on the landing in some oak and it cut the same. As long as I don't use the nose it cuts pretty darn good.

Try clipping the heels on the cutters. Pretty easy on a round grinder

I have one of Clint's square chains here to try also. It's crazy smooth, I'm sure it'll do better than my hand filed stuff.

Try to match this, I can bore if need be even with the heel stock as well as the huge amount gullet it still cut really good.

You have very much time on it?

I didn't forget, I still owe you another....
Lol...no it's too damn pretty to run in the mud covered garbage I have around here.

What little I have cut with it, it's like a hot knife through butter.

And I ain't worried about the other one. Like I said, when you get time.
