Well, here is my first attempt at hand square filing .325 chain. I picked a Carlton loop. Probably should have picked a Oregon loop. This Carlton is like diamond hard.
Not the greatest, but I really enjoy learning this square grind. Now I gotta get the chain into some wood to see how it cuts.

File your way closer to the corner while pushing more toward the corner and not lifting up so muchHow do I get rid of that? Lol

Ok. I will check that. I am wondering if my difficulty of trying to fit the file in the .325 chain is causing it.From those pics, the corner seems a little high. Vs. low, which would be a side beak. Right smack in the apex is the sweet spot.
