That's doing pretty good to break that lol. That's a go and wipe afterwards incident lol.
I was racing you guess I won LOL Was the Tree Monkey Dolmar against the Mastermind MakitaI broke one last year at Custer's gtg. The file corner had got enough through the strap that it just nicked the rivet. Sliced a dolmar chain catcher right off. Which is quite a feat since they're almost 1/4" thick. I was impressed lol
Our snow was gone today. That chain is on.Our snow will be gone by tomorrow I think. I have some short test logs but they're kinda dirty.
I think it was.Or was it on the 7310?
Try this chain out Ri I send it to ya
I picked up a 106B today, set it up on one of my hand filed square chains. The big problem is it does not hold the file at the correct angle to get a straiht up side plate, I get too much forward lean.
Anybody else have this problem?
Thinking about changing the notch in the file holder.
Ok, I'm about done p--sing around with this thing, finally got it adjusted for the left side, wasn't really happy with all the B S, always having to reposition the chain stop behind the tooth, check to see if adjustments are still the same and the file hasn't slipped, aw crap that stop is on top of the tooth again, cut fingers tugging & pulling the razor sharp chain, got the left side done switch it over to right side, same adjustments, whoa, gotta turn the file the other way, two try's later it looks pretty good but since the file was turned now every thing must be lowered, now the file is deeply grooving the clamp that holds the chain.I picked up a 106B today, set it up on one of my hand filed square chains. Now there's blood all over, looks like a self sacrifice and only one side of the chain done, I could have free handed 3 chains in this time.
The neighbor may find this with his lawn mower on the other side of his house next summer
