I have one just like it but it ain't pink -- gray and black instead. Even the bar is the same length (10"). So, should I leave it the original color to preserve its masculinity? Please advise.View attachment 36470
The saw I built my wife.
It had bad crank bearings,I have one just like it but it ain't pink -- gray and black instead. Even the bar is the same length (10"). So, should I leave it the original color to preserve its masculinity? Please advise.
p.s. I tried installing a 16" bar. LOML said it looked better with the original 10" on board.
well brett on the forum is building the 61 though it isn't quite stock its getting updated with a 266 xp top end and new carburetor with some minor work done to the cylinder. he goes by gobigblue1984 if your interested in what he is doing. There is something about those Husky 61's that is unmistakable. They just plain look tough as nails. I'm sure Jake Wells agrees with me on that one. A friend asked me to sell one for him (a 300th anniversary release). I may have no choice but to buy it for myself and add it to my own arsenal.
It's the one on the right:
Meh? Agree to disagree...Stihls and old homelites are the only manly saws. End of story. View attachment 37191
