Hate hitting stones and concrete. As people have said, only happens with a new chain.

Finished the cut with the wicked 2159 @Benwa ported for me and some junky old 20” semi chisel I got from @Woodslasher…on an 8 pin. Super fast angry little beaver!

You're best off missing the nails.
I missed this one in a 28" log by about an inch.

There were two more smaller nails in the same log that I found, I missed them all.
Lucky day I guess.

I throw the saw on the ground, kick some dirt, say a few choice words and pack my saw and what's left of my dignity back to the truck and go home

Gently put the saw down, get back up, cuss at the log, then proceed to punt the log you were cutting.

Dirt is too soft and moves to easy to vent any anger.

Once all done, then gently pack up the saw and go home
